I attended the ABA Family Law Section CLE Spring Meeting in Miami last month and helped produce the ethical presentation there. Many thanks to the panel members, Andy Vorzimer, Sean Tipton, Judith Daar, and Terri Davidson for their depth of expertise in a format that simply did not allow enough time to fully explore the very important issues of maintaining strong ethical standards in a new and unfolding area of the law.
The conference again provided access to experienced attorneys who practice in this area of the law, most often due to their dedication to families and clients who need these services. Every speaker provided excellent information and wisdom regarding challenging issues in ART law. And, each meeting attracts the wonderful energy of new practitioners dedicated to working in this area. Great energy, great material, and a lot of inspiration.
Miami was a treat for this west coast native who got a first glimpse of manatees and birds found only in Florida. Thanks to the Florida ART/Adoption attorneys who were out in force for their great hospitality.
